Biography

NEW ALBUM AND NEW SHOW IN 2010
They released their third album "Roche, papier,ciseaux" under the Musivox Label and distributed by Outside Music. This album was nominated at ADISQ and Folk Alliance Awards Les Tireux d'Roches performed an official showcase at the OCFF Conference in 2006 and Folk Alliance Canada in 2005. For 10 years, this Quebec folklore group has been playing traditional music inspired by the Quebec repertoire, with a uniquely creative touch. Live or recorded, Les Tireux d’Roches know how to impress crowds and never go unnoticed. Storytellers, singers and musicians, Les Tireux d’Roches have developed a unique repertoire of traditional stories and songs called 'modern future', they take you on a fantastic musicial, story-filled, multi-coloured voyage into an imaginary New-World-of-old. Les Tireux d'Roches regurarly tours in Europe, they participated to the Folk Alliance Showcases in San Diego and Montréal,they played at "Les Francofolies de Montréal" and at lots of other major scenes in Montreal including Le Medley, Le Club Soda, La Place des Arts and Le Corona. Their concert has also been presented at Radio-Canada (CBC). For french speaking crowds, Les Tireux d'Roches also performs some story telling.
